Work experience
Carlo Alberto joined Jacobacci after his law degree in 1992, and has been practising in Jacobacci since then, representing and advising Italian and foreign clients and acquiring a considerable experience on all trademarks-related and anti counterfeiting related matters.
Carlo Alberto has been regularly attending, over the years, the major IP conferences and established close and long-lasting professional relationships with IP lawyers and trademark attorneys, creating a reliable network of IP specialists in virtually every country of the world

Professional focus: 
Carlo Alberto handles and coordinates the worldwide registration and enforcement of a number of prominent trademarks, in particular in the fashion and design fields, cooperating closely with local attorneys at law.
Over the years he matured a solid experience of handling oppositions and cancellation actions before the OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated out of court settlement and coexistence agreements, in Italy and abroad.  He has  a broad range of experience in trademarks clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution, opposition and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). 
His practice is also particularly focused on the definition, coordination and implementation of anti counterfeiting programs, both in the brick and mortars markets and over the Net.
He cooperates closely with local attorneys at law, and has acquired a deep knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark, design and copyright enforcement throughout the world.

Carlo Alberto manages the worldwide trademark portfolio and anti counterfeiting programs of major Italian companies operating in the field of fashion, luxury goods, foodstuffs, wine, and design furniture; He provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to multinational corporations as well as to small and medium size Italian companies, and  to major US, English and Japanese companies on trademark, design, copyright  and anti counterfeiting issues in Italy. 
His activity also includes trademark clearance, filing,  prosecution and opposition both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM).
