Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 1988, Angelo worked as plastic technologist  at Fiat Auto and as trainee patent attorney at Industrie Pirelli.   
As a patent attorney, Angelo has been representing and advising clients ranging from private inventors, to SMEs, as well as Italian and foreign multi-national corporations.

Professional focus
Angelo has an extensive 20-year plus  practice in drafting and prosecuting European and Italian patent applications, as well as in opposition and appeal procedures before the European Patent Office in several fields, mainly related to plastic and chemical technologies. He has also been involved as technical consultant in several patent litigations in Italy, which in some cases constituted a branch of complex multi-national litigations.

Areas of expertise
Angelo has particular experience in the fields of chemical plants, industrial chemistry, techniques and machinery for plastics and rubber processing, medical devices,  waste disposal and recycling and  “green” technologies in general.  
Angelo has been member for several years of the Committee charged of the preparation and correction of paper C of the European Qualifying Examination and  involved in teaching activities on behalf of the European Patent Academy.
