Work experience
Silvia initially joined Jacobacci Law Firm in 2003 at the Milan office, subsequently she cooperated in New York with the IP  team at Cowan Leibowitz & Latman with specific focus on trademark matters, and gained additional experience on judicial and extra judicial matters in Bonelli Erede Pappalardo Law Firm. In 2008 Silvia joined Jacobacci & Partners acquiring a substantial experience on all trademark-related matters.

Professional focus
Silvia is experienced in pre-filing advices, similarity and availability searches, trademarks filing strategies, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, opposition procedures both before the Italian Trademark Office and the European Trademark Office, Customs Surveillance applications, anti counterfeiting issues, negotiation and drafting of settlement and coexistence agreements.  

Areas of expertise
Silvia has experience in Italian and European intellectual property law. She represents clients from a wide range of industries operating in the fashion, textile and luxury goods market, the wine and spirits production and distribution, the food industry.
