Work experience
Starting at the Licensing Department of SmithKline & Beecham, Milan, Fabiola then built her experience with a major IP firm in Milan and joined Jacobacci in 2002 and since then has been dealing with all aspects of trademark law and non-contentious issues, assisting both domestic and foreign clients.  

Professional focus
Fabiola has an extensive experience of brand selection, portfolio management, IP due diligence, enforcement and advisory work for clients. 
She is particularly experienced in prosecution work and oppositions filed before the OHIM.  She also has a broad experience in co-ordinating trademark litigations for clients throughout Europe, the U.S.A. and the Far East.

Areas of expertise
Fabiola manages the worldwide trademark portfolios of prominent Italian companies operating in a range of sectors, notably fashion, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, and toys, but her clients include also small and medium sized companies. 
Her activity includes trademark clearance, filing and prosecution both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM), oppositions and negotiations of settlement and coexistence agreements. Fabiola  also advises on infringement and unfair competition matters, and handles and coordinates the worldwide enforcement of a number of prominent trademarks, cooperating closely with local attorneys at law, and has acquired a deep knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark enforcement throughout the world.
