Work experience
Patrizia joined Jacobacci in 1986 after a five-year experience in IP practice at a law firm in Milan, and has been practicing in Jacobacci since then representing and advising Italian and foreign clients, and acquiring a considerable experience on all trademarks-related matters. 
Patrizia established close and long-lasting professional relationships with IP lawyers in Europe, as well as abroad.

Professional focus
Patrizia has an excellent range of experience in trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years she matured a solid experience of handling oppositions before the OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated out of court settlement and coexistence agreements, always able to balance risks, costs and results, while providing practical solutions.
She handles and coordinates the worldwide enforcement of a number of prominent trademarks, cooperating closely with local attorneys at law, and has acquired a broad knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark enforcement throughout the world. 

Areas of expertise
Patrizia manages the worldwide trademark portfolio of major Italian companies operating in the field of luxury goods as well as of primary importance companies in the mechanical  and chemical fields. She routinely advises on global protection strategies and provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to multinational corporation, as well as to small and medium size Italian companies. 
Her activity includes trademark clearance, filing and prosecution both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years she matured a solid experience in anti-counterfeiting activities, especially through recordal of trademarks at Custom Offices, follow up and worldwide coordination on behalf of major Italian clients.
