Work experience
After graduation he was Assistant Professor in Electromagnetics in the Department of Electronics of the Turin Polytechnic and worked in the field of microwave antennas and related electronics.
In 1977 he joined Jacobacci & Partners (formerly Jacobacci-Casetta & Perani), wherein he is now a Senior Partner and a Member of the Board.
In 1979 and 1980 worked as a visiting attorney in the IP firm Weickmann & Weickmann of Munich, Germany, and with Sughrue in Washington, D.C..
Professional focus
Giuseppe has an extensive practice in drafting and prosecuting PCT, European and Italian patent applications relating to engineering subject-matter and a solid experience of handling oppositions and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, including multiparty proceedings and hearings, in the English, French and German language. He has also been involved in patent litigations and license negotiations in Italy and other European and Asian countries.
Giuseppe has also matured a considerable experience in the protection of designs and models and has been involved in many national and international litigation cases in this field.

Giuseppe handles mainly engineering matter and has particular experience in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, household appliances, medical devices, automotive systems, railway equipment, sports equipment, textile machines, domestic and industrial electrical equipment, heating and ventilation equipment, packaging and material handling systems.
Since many years Giuseppe lectures on Intellectual Property at the Polytechnic of Milan, the Polytechnic of Turin and the Universities of Bologna and Ferrara.
