Work experience
Enrico joined Jacobacci after his law degree on 1985, and has been practising in Jacobacci since then, representing and advising Italian and foreign clients and acquiring a considerable experience on all trademarks-related matter.
Enrico has been regularly attending, over the years, all the major IP conferences and established close and long-lasting professional relationships with IP lawyers and trademark attorneys, creating a reliable network of IP specialists in virtually every country of the world
He currently heads Jacobacci’s trademark department of the Turin office

Professional focus
Enrico has  a broad range of experience in trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years he matured a solid experience of handling oppositions before the OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated out of court settlement and coexistence agreements, always able to balance risks, costs and results, while providing practical solutions.
He handles and coordinates the worldwide enforcement of a number of prominent trademarks, cooperating closely with local attorneys at law, and has acquired a deep knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark enforcement throughout the world and, particularly, in Asian and Latin America countries.

Areas of expertise
Enrico manages the worldwide trademark portfolio of major Italian companies operating in the field of fashion, luxury goods, foodstuffs, wine, and provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to multinational corporation as well as to small and medium size Italian companies.
He regularly provides tailored strategic and practical advice to some major US, English and Japanese companies on trademark issues in Italy. 
His activity includes trademark clearance, filing and prosecution both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years he matured a solid experience of handling oppositions before the OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated out of court settlement and coexistence agreements, in Italy and abroad.

Enrico regularly lectures at IP courses for prospective Trademark Agents and gives in-house presentations for clients.
