Catherine graduated in Law at the Turin University, after a one-year period at the Lund University (Sweden), specializing in EU law.
Work experience
Catherine joined Jacobacci in 2006, after a one-year period of training with the public prosecutor at Ivrea, and has been practicing in Jacobacci since then, representing and advising Italian and foreign clients and acquiring a considerable experience on all trademarks-related matter.
Professional focus
Catherine has a broad range of experience in trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years she matured a solid experience in handling oppositions before the OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated out of court settlement and coexistence agreements.

Catherine manages part of the trademark portfolio of major Italian companies operating in the field of automotive, cosmetics and alcoholic beverages and provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to multinational corporation as well as to small and medium size Italian companies.
