Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2000, Christian worked as a Research Fellow with focus on optical and x-ray characterization of materials for optoelectronics.
As a patent attorney Christian has been representing and advising clients ranging from academic and research institutions and deeply specialized local companies to multi-national corporations.

Professional focus
Christian has an extensive practice in drafting and prosecuting European, Italian and International patent applications relating to engineering subject-matter and has experience in handling oppositions and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. 
He regularly provides technical opinions on legal issues, including infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions. 

Areas of expertise
Christian handles mainly engineering matter and has particular experience in the fields of dampers and shock-absorbers, nautical components, drill pipes, optics, nanotechnologies, medical devices, composites for the aircraft industry, renewable energies, technologies for the recovery of secondary raw materials, HVAC equipment.
