Work experience
Formerly with the University of Milan as a biologist with major interest in Central Nervous System degenerative diseases. She co-founded and managed a University Spin-off focused on cellular systems for drug screening purposes and predictive cellular models for brain pathologies. 

Professional focus
Dorotea joined Jacobacci & Partners in 2010 and, building on her experience as a scientist, she is now involved in patent drafting and prosecution, validity and patentability opinions. 

Areas of expertise
Dorotea deals with chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological matters. She has an extensive hands-on experience in cellular biology and DNA and RNA technologies. She acquired a specific experience in the field of biomarkers, new pharmaceutical compounds, agro-food biotechnologies, plant extracts, medical devices, molecules and process to promote and direct cellular differentiation and tissue formation.
