Stella graduated in Law at the Verona University and took the Master on IP-Law “IDEA CINA with specialization on the Chinese market” organized by ICE – Italian Institute for Foreign Trade – in collaboration with MIP Politecnico di Milano, School of Management.
Stella further took the Post graduate Course “Intellectual Property Law” in Macau organized by IEEM – Institute of European Studies in Macau.
Work experience
Stella joined Jacobacci in 2009 and has been practicing in Jacobacci since then, representing and advising Italian and foreign clients and acquiring experience on all trademarks-related matter.
Previously Stella worked as intern for the “EU-China Project IPR2 for the protection of Intellectual Property Rights” in their Offices in Munich at EPO and Beijing.
She also worked in the Italian-German Law Firm “Dolce & Lauda Rechtsanwälte und Notare“ in Frankfurt am Main.
Professional focus
Stella has acquired experience in trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, before the Italian Trademark Office (IPTO), the European Trademark Office (OHIM) and national foreigner Trademark Offices with the cooperation of local attorneys.
On behalf of Italian and foreign companies she handles oppositions and invalidation proceedings before the OHIM and the IPTO, negotiations and out of court settlements advising clients and drafting coexistence agreements. Stella handles and coordinates the worldwide enforcement of client’s trademarks and counterfeiting actions, cooperating with local attorneys at law, and is acquiring knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark enforcement throughout the world, in particular in Asian countries. She also deals with issues concerning PDO and PGI.

Stella manages the trademark portfolio of SME Italian companies, mostly operating in the industrial, clothing, medical and foodstuff fields.
She is acquiring increasing experience in connection with trademark portfolio of major Italian companies operating in the field of fashion and luxury goods and provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to Italian companies and multinational corporation in team with Senior colleagues.
