Work experience
Gianpiero joined Jacobacci on 2006 and has been practicing in Jacobacci since then. Thanks to daily contacts with lawyers and trademark attorneys in Europe and extra-European countries, Gianpiero gained considerable experience in all trademarks-related matters in many countries all over the world.
He is currently in charge as head of the trademarks department of Brescia Office.

Professional focus
Gianpiero has significant experience in trademark protection strategy and in particular in searches, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks before Italian, European and International Trademark Offices. 
He is qualified in handling opposition procedures before Italian and European PTO and gained experience coordinating enforcement strategies all over the world, through a selection of IP specialists. He has also acquired important skills in extra-judicial procedures such as negotiations, coexistence-agreements drafting and trademarks enforcement. 

Areas of expertise
Gianpiero manages trademark portfolio of several small and medium sized Italian companies in different business sectors, in particular in clothing, lighting, design, food & beverage, high-technology and mechanical fields.
He is expert in custom surveillance and seizure procedures, in particular in EU countries and China.
Gianpiero also acquired experience in three-dimensional trademarks protection, particularly with regard to trademark filing and prosecution in Italy, EU and USA.
He has specific experience in trademark filing and prosecution in Russia and ex-URSS countries.
