Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2008, Stefano had Industry experiences at the Research&Development of Italtel, Siemens Information&Communication Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks. Stefano’s practice included advanced research in the field of mobile and optical telecommunications networks and technologies.
Professional focus
Stefano’s practice in Jacobacci & Partners includes in particular drafting and prosecuting European and Italian Patent applications, notably relating to subject-matter in the field of electronics and telecommunications, as well as filing and prosecution of Italian and Community Design registrations. Due to his technical background and research experience, a further focus of Stefano’s work is related to detailed technical analysis activities for the preparation of opinions on patentability of technical solutions and opinions on interference.
Areas of expertise
Stefano’s core expertise is in the areas of electronics, opto-electronics and telecommunications, relating in particular to mobile communication devices, opto-electronics devices, network equipment for mobile and fixed telecommunications, fibre-optic systems, semiconductor devices, audio-video devices.
Stefano also handles further technical matters, among which electrical signal processing, computer-implemented inventions based on mathematical algorithms such as neural networks, solar energy generators, sensor systems, electro-mechanical systems.
