Camilla worked as trademark attorney at Finpatent IP firm in Venice and joined Jacobacci in 2008 where she acquired considerable experience in all aspects of trademark law, representing both Italian and foreign clients
Professional focus
Camilla has been working since 1999 in the field of IP consultancy, acquiring gradually the ability and knowledge required to represent, assist and advise the clients in trademark related matters. Camilla works mainly with small and medium size Italian companies.
Over the years Camilla matured an experience in clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Camilla has a significant experience in handling opposition before the OHIM as well as in negotiating out of court settlement and coexistence agreements. Camilla co-operates with local agents of different countries and particularly with Chinese ones, in the definition of Anti Counterfeiting strategy.
Areas of expertise
Camilla deals with the development and with the handling of trademark portfolio of small and medium companies operating in the field of fashion, foodstuffs, wine, distribution, lighting and machinery, providing advice and defining the trademark filing strategy, aimed to give adequate territorial and product protection to clients’ brands.
Her activity includes trademark clearance, filing of national, Community and International trademarks, prosecution of the applications, handling oppositions before the OHIM, IPTO and national offices, through the collaboration with local agents, on behalf of Italian companies, negotiation of out of court settlement and coexistence agreements.
