Alessandra joined Jacobacci in 2008, after working for five years as a white collar criminal defense attorney. At Jacobacci she has acquired considerable experience in all aspects of trademark law, representing both Italian and foreign clients.
Professional focus
Alessandra has a broad range of experience in counseling large multinational organizations along with medium and small companies with trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian (UIBM) and the European Trademark Office (OHIM). Over the years she has gained experience handling proceedings before the OHIM, especially in opposition matters, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies. She has successfully negotiated numerous out-of-court settlements and coexistence agreements. Alessandra also manages well-known trademarks in jurisdictions outside of Europe, cooperating with law firms and local agents in numerous countries, using her knowledge of local law and practice to coordinate trademark rights worldwide.

Alessandra currently manages trademark portfolios of well-known Italian companies in the fields of luxury goods and cosmetics, providing her clients with assistance on a practical and strategic level on IP matters. She also has experience managing trademark portfolios for a wide variety of industries including those in the mechanical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage sectors.
