She graduated from the King’s College London in 2007 with a Master of Laws (LL. M.) in International Business Law with a particular focus on International and Comparative Intellectual Property and Related Rights.


Work experience
Claudia joined Jacobacci in 2008, after working as attorney in commercial and civil law.  At Jacobacci she gained considerable experience in all aspects of trademark law, representing and advising Italian and foreign clients. 

Professional focus
Claudia has a broad range of experience in trademark clearance and pre-filing advice, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, both before the Italian (UIBM) and the European Trademark Office (OHIM).  Over the years she has gained experience handling oppositions before the UIBM and OHIM, on behalf of Italian and foreign companies, and has successfully negotiated numerous out of court settlement and coexistence agreements, providing practical solutions in Italy and abroad. Claudia also manages trademarks in jurisdictions outside Europe, cooperating with law firms and local agents in numerous countries, using her knowledge of local law and practice to coordinate trademark rights worldwide.

Areas of expertise
Claudia manages the worldwide trademark portfolio of individuals, limited companies, multinational corporations and associations, operating in various sectors such as food & beverage (in particular, wines and coffee), healthcare, pharmaceutical, fashion, travel and mechanical. She regularly provides tailored strategic and practical advice on IP related issues to multinational corporations as well as to small and medium-sized Italian and foreign companies on trademark issues in Italy.
