Increasingly the Internet appears to have become the new frontier for counterfeiting. In fact trade mark attacks on the web are widespread and apply to a range of contexts, from the sale of fake products to cybersquatting or the so called Chinese mails that blackmail the trade mark owner by threatening to register a domain with a similar name.
Jacobacci was one of the first to work in this area: tactical monitoring and action systems have been developed to identify dangerous attacks and counteract before it is too late.
