Filing a Chinese design

From 1st June 2021, Chinese design applications (and divisional, too) will be even more strategic.
Design applications filed starting from that date will be provided an extended term of 15 years (instead of 10 years).Furthermore, Chinese design regulation will accept partial protection of a model with the use of "broken lines"; this practice is already accepted by many offices (EUIPO, for example). A particular detail of a product could thus be protected with a Chinese design.
