Work experience

After graduation, Clélia worked as a PhD candidate at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in Paris and obtained a PhD in physics.In 2007, she joined Coralis as a patent engineer. She passed the European qualification exam in 2011 and the French qualification exam in 2013.

Professional focus

Clélia has an extensive practice drafting and prosecuting French, PCT and European patent applications, as well as following the examination procedures of foreign applications (USA, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea…). She has substantial experience in achieving patentability, freedom-to-operate and validity opinions. She also has been involved in patent litigation in France.

Clélia works on a broad range of subject-matter, including physics (optics, mechanics, electrical appliances, automotive systems), chemistry (cement and industrial processes), microfluidics, and has particular expertise in the field of computer-implemented inventions.
