Pedro graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Parks College of Saint Louis University, U.S.A., and obtained a postgraduate degree (Master in Business Administration) from ICADE of Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid, Spain.

Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 1998, Pedro worked as a freelance consultant with a focus on translation, specification drafting and technical opinion preparation.
As Head of the Patent Division in Jacobacci & Partners - Madrid office, Pedro represents and advises clients ranging from local technology-oriented companies to multi-national corporations.

Professional focus
Pedro has an extensive practice in drafting and prosecuting European and Spanish patent applications relating to engineering subject-matter and has significant experience in handling Spanish and Community Design applications. He has also been involved in patent litigation before Spanish courts. Although based in Madrid, Pedro is frequently in Turin for corporate coordination meetings as well as travelling throughout Spain for meetings with clients.

Areas of expertise
Pedro focus primarily on engineering matters and has particular expertise in the fields of wind energy tower construction, wind energy generators, industrial electrical equipment and medical devices. Pedro occasionally lectures at various university institutions.
