Davide read law at the Libera Università degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (L.U.I.S.S.) in Rome, graduating with full marks. While at university, Davide specialised in corporate law, and gained experience in legal research and practice in Sweden and the United States. After having graduated, Davide pursued his interest in intellectual property and undertook a specialisation at the L.U.I.S.S before reading for a master’s degree on the protection of intellectual property rights in China at the then Istituto del Commercio Estero (I.C.E.), now Italian Trade Agency (I.T.A.).
Before joining Jacobacci in 2013, Davide worked for two years in administrative and civil law at the Avvocatura Capitolina di Roma Capitale, and gained further experience working at a prominent intellectual property firm in Beijing.
Davide has an impressive understanding of trademark-related issues and provides tailored advice to small, medium and large-sized companies. The scope of his work spans clearance searches, pre-filing strategy and the prosecution and defence of trademark rights before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (IPTO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Over the years, Davide has developed an in-depth knowledge of proceedings before the IPTO and EUIPO and has successfully negotiated a wide range of settlement agreements on behalf of Italian and foreign clients. Working with senior partners, he assists in the management of large, prominent IP portfolios and is able to apply his legal knowledge on a global scale.

He is, furthermore, adept at advising companies operating in a variety of alternative areas including the automotive, mechanical, pharmaceutical and agriculture sectors.
