Eleonora graduated in Law from the University of Turin (Italy) and homologated her law degree with the University of Castilla - La Mancha in Spain.
After obtaining her first law degree in Italy, Eleonora practiced in Turin-area law firms specializing in civil law matters, before joining Jacobacci & Partners, in 2006.
In the Turin office of Jacobacci, Eleonora worked as a trademark attorney, representing and advising domestic and foreign clients. In January 2011, Eleonora transferred to Jacobacci’s Madrid Office, where she presently is Managing Partner. She regularly attends the major IP conferences and has established close professional relationships with IP counsels in many different countries of the world.
Eleonora has extensive experience in all trademark and design matters, including availability searches and pre-filing assessment, application filing and prosecution of Spanish, European Union and international trademarks/designs, as well as domain name dispute resolutions. She has valuable experience in handling oppositions before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), oppositions and cancellation actions before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and negotiations for successful out-of-court settlements, offering practical solutions to her clients.
Eleonora also coordinates the enforcement of her client’s IP rights in foreign countries, cooperating closely with local attorneys, and has acquired a broad knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark prosecution and enforcement abroad.

Eleonora manages worldwide and local IP portfolios of domestic and foreign companies, especially those active in the fashion, luxury goods, financial, foodstuffs, wine and automobile market sectors.
She specializes in European Union and Spanish trademarks and designs, protected designations of origin in the European Union, and domain names involving UDRP proceedings.
She regularly advises major US and other foreign companies on trademark matters in Spain and the European Union.
Eleonora frequently gives presentations in conferences and is the author of various articles in international publications on trademark topics.
