Emilia graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Piacenza and attended a specialization course in IP-Law "IDEA CINA" with a focus on the Chinese market, organized by ICE-Italian Trade Commission- and MIP - Milan Polytechnic.
Emilia is currently working on her Phd in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Milan.
Emilia began her professional career at law firms in Milan. Thereafter, she worked with Peksung Intellectual Property Ltd, Beijing.
Emilia joined Jacobacci in 2010.
Emilia has substantial experience in pre-filing advice, similarity searches, filing, prosecution and maintenance of trademarks, oppositions before the Italian and European Trademark Office (EUIPO), Customs applications, and anti-counterfeiting matters. She has acquired extensive knowledge of legal and practical issues relating to trademark counterfeiting matters, particularly in China, and cooperates closely with local attorneys at law.
