All our offices are operating as usual and our whole team remains at your disposal to respond to your needs by phone, videoconference or email at any time.

We are constantly monitoring indications coming from the countries where we operate and we will keep adapting in accordance with measures being introduced to enact any new legal requirements and any indications issued by the Health Authority.

This includes monitoring any suspension or extension of time limits set by Patent and Trademark Offices worldwide.

The Italian Patent and Trademark Office (Ufficio Italiano Brevetti e Marchi -UIBM) has officially suspended certain time limits until 3 April 2020, while the European Union Office for Intellectual Property (EUIPO) has suspended until 1 May 2020 all time limits expiring between 9 March and 30 April 2020, without distinction.

The European Patent Office (EPO) published a Notice extending the terms. Periods expiring on or after 15 March 2020 will be extended to 17 April 2020. Please feel free to contact us for further clarifications.

Furthermore, we are constantly monitoring the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and other national Patent and Trademark Offices with regard to any possible suspension of time limits, and your professionals of reference will promptly update you.

We will keep you informed of any further relevant developments and we would like to thank you for your trust and the commitment you have shown so far.
