All time limits before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (Ufficio Italiano Brevetti e Marchi -UIBM) has officially been suspended from 23 February 2020 to 15 April 2020, while the European Union Office for Intellectual Property (EUIPO) has extended until 1 May 2020 all time limits expiring between 9 March and 30 April 2020, without distinction.
The European Patent Office (EPO) also published a Notice extending the terms. Periods expiring on or after 15 March 2020 will be extended to 20 April 2020. Please feel free to contact us for further clarifications.
