Work experience

Andrea graduated in 2023 from Politecnico di Milano with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in "Advanced Mechanical Design." During his studies, he performed various work collaborations with Politecnico di Milano and some European universities. Immediately after graduating, Andrea began his career in the intellectual property sector at a well-known firm in Milan, where he worked for approximately a year and a half; he then joined Jacobacci & Partners in March 2025.

Professional focus

As a patent consultant, Andrea collaborates with senior partners in assisting clients with intellectual property protection, helping to define the best protection strategies. He is involved in drafting and prosecuting Italian, European, and international patents, conducting prior art searches, and performing freedom-to-operate analyses.

Andrea mainly handles mechanical inventions, and he has experience in drafting and prosecuting patents in the following sectors: packaging, converting, gaskets, valves, coffee machines, diving equipment, locks, brake calipers, brake pads, brake pad manufacturing machinery, window frames, and ice makers.
