Work experience
In 2021, immediately after obtaining her Master's Degree, Elena started working at Jacobacci & Partners with an extracurricular internship, and subsequently joined the team of professionals in the patent area, wherein she collaborates with the senior partners of the company in the preparation and prosecution of consultancy activities in patent matters.
During her studies, Elena had the opportunity to explore topics of great interest to her, such as the design and project of biomechanical devices and the study of biocompatible materials.
In addition, during her university career, Elena managed to cultivate her passions for food and wine, photography and writing, especially by traveling and enjoying different cultures.

Professional focus
As a patent consultant, Elena supports senior partners in consulting companies and privates in the protection of intellectual property and in the evaluation of the best protection strategies in the sector.
She is involved in the drafting and prosecution of Italian and European patent applications, as well as Italian, European and International models or designs, as well as in analysis of free operation, in particular in engineering matters.

Areas of expertise
Elena mainly deals with the protection of ideas in the field of mechanics, industrial automation and robotics, especially in the automotive field, in the automation field for the food industry, and with regard to several industrial plants. To date, Elena particularly deals with inventions relating to biomedical devices, diagnostic devices, rehabilitation devices, implants and prostheses, textile machines, household devices, lighting devices, machine tools, sports equipment, food packaging, filtration devices.
