Federica graduated in Law from the University of Milan - Statale, specializing in IP law.During her studies she had a study experience in China at Nankai University (Tianjin) and at Tonji University (Shanghai).Subsequently, Federica deepened her interest in Intellectual Property Rights by attending the WIPO Academy’s General Course on Intellectual Property and by obtaining a master in intellectual property law and innovation held by 24Ore Business School.

Work experience

After an experience in a law firm in Milan specialized in civil and criminal law, Federica continued her working path in two IP firms, respectively in Milan and Rome, where she acquired her professional skills in the area of intellectual property, specifically in the trademarks area. Federica joined Jacobacci in September 2024 at its Rome office.

Professional focus

Federica works proactively with the Partners, dealing with the main aspects of the life of a trademark: from the preliminary activities before filing - such as opinions on availability trademark searches, assessments of registrability and trademark strategies - to subsequent activities including the drafting of legal documents such as coexistence or licensing agreements, preparing replies to overcome refusals and observations in opposition procedures before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (IPTO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Federica also supports in the negotiations and in the daily cooperation with foreign agents in relation to trademark matters and strategies around the world.

Areas of expertise

Federica works together with the Partners and provides a valuable contribution in the management of small and medium-sized Italian and foreign Trademarks portfolios as well as in the management of brand portfolios of well-known Italian and foreign companies in various fields such as fashion, food, pharmaceuticals and transport.
