Work experience
After graduation Giuseppe worked as an Assistant Professor in Electromagnetics in the Department of Electronics at the Polytechnic of Turin where he was active in the field of microwave antennas and related electronics.
In 1977 he joined Jacobacci & Partners where he is now a Partner and a Member of the Board of Directors.
In 1979 Giuseppe was a visiting attorney in the IP firm Weickmann & Weickmann in Munich, Germany, and in 1980 with Sughrue Mion in Washington, D.C.

 

Professional focus
Giuseppe has an extensive practice drafting and prosecuting PCT, European and Italian patent applications relating to engineering subject-matter and substantial experience handling oppositions and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, including multiparty proceedings and hearings in the English, French  and German languages. He also has been involved in patent litigation and license negotiations  in Italy and other European countries as well as in Asia.
Giuseppe has acquired considerable experience in the protection of designs and models and has been involved in numerous national and international litigation cases in this area.

 

Areas of expertise
Giuseppe mainly works on engineering matters and has particular expertise in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, household appliances, medical devices, automotive systems, railway equipment, sports equipment, textile machines, domestic and industrial electrical equipment, heating and ventilation equipment, packaging and material handling systems.
Giuseppe has lectured for many years on Intellectual Property at the Polytechnic of Milan, the Polytechnic of Turin and the Universities of Bologna and Ferrara.
