Work experience
Laura joined Jacobacci in 2001. Prior to joining Jacobacci, she worked as a trademark attorney at important IP firms in Milan. She has been practising trademark law since 1994.
Laura has taught at seminars for preparing candidates for the trademark attorney exam in courses organized by Convey. Laura headed the trademark department of Jacobacci's Padua office from 2002 to 2006.

Laura’s practice primarily involves trademark clearance and pre-filing counseling, filing, prosecution and defense of trademarks in Italy and abroad.
She is particularly proficient in Italian, Community and International trademark procedures. She cooperates with foreign trademark attorneys to enforce Italian clients' trademark rights abroad.    
She has developed expertise in filing and defending designations of origin and in drafting and evaluating trademark coexistence and settlement agreements.
Laura counsels clients on strategies for defending trademarks and provides advice on all other aspects of trademark law.

Laura has significant experience handling trademark portfolios in a range of fields, such as fashion, food and beverages, household appliances, IT, financial services, transport services, restaurant services, as well as nonprofit organizations.  
Her primary professional activity includes trademark clearance, filing and prosecution particularly before the Italian PTO and the EUIPO. She represents Italian and international companies in oppositions before the Italian PTO and in oppositions, cancellation and appeal proceedings before the EUIPO.
Laura also provides training for new trademark professionals.
