Matilde Galvan

Matilde received a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering (Optoelectronics and Photovoltaic Devices curriculum) at the University of Padua. Her final thesis was developed at the research laboratories of the University of Padua and is related to the analysis of degradation processes of infrared DBR lasers used in telecommunications.

Work experience

Prior to her joining Jacobacci & Partners as a recent graduate in 2023, Matilde attended the Master's degree program in Electronic Engineering with a curriculum oriented toward the area of photonics and optoelectronic devices, which was also the topic of her final thesis. This experience led her to develop interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills, mainly due to systematic reports and presentations on her research activities, as well as the ability to interact with different professionals.

Professional focus

As a patent attorney, Matilde collaborates with senior partners of the company in meeting and supporting clients, who range from individual inventors to companies, operating in multiple sectors and endowed with great aptitude for innovation. In fact, Matilde is involved in prior art searches, freedom to operate and patentability analyses, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, drafting notifications, replicas, and technical descriptions.

To date, Matilde collaborates with professionals in the office, working on inventions in the mechanical and chemical fields, particularly for industrial applications, providing support about electrical and electronic issues.
