Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2024, Matteo completed his PhD in Physics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia and KU Leuven, specializing in the theoretical and computational study of strongly correlated systems, particularly quantum materials. During his doctoral studies, he acquired advanced technical skills in developing computational algorithms to describe the properties of these materials. Matteo actively contributed to both Italian and European research projects and published several articles in international scientific journals.
Professional focus
As a patent consultant, Matteo assists senior colleagues in advising companies on intellectual property protection, contributing to the development of optimal protection strategies. He is involved in the drafting and prosecution of Italian and European patents, conducting prior art searches, and freedom-to-operate analyses, with a particular focus on electronics, optics, software, and Internet-related topics.
