Ing., graduated with a degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from the University of Brescia. Furthermore, he holds a degree of Master de Sciences, Technologies, Santé, Mention Sciences pour l’Ingénieur, from the Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI University and a PhD in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Brescia. He is qualified to practice as an Industrial Engineer.

Work experience

Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2026, Stefano acquired experience in industrial research and development. His professional career began at the CNR (National Research Council), where he focused on software design and control algorithms for collaborative robotics. Subsequently, he consolidated his expertise within an R&D department at Antares Vision Group S.p.A., overseeing the development of industrial inspection systems based on computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) applied to the manufacturing, life sciences, and agritech sectors. Additionally, Stefano worked for a company specializing in the security & safety field, coordinating the development of AI-based computer vision solutions and collaborating on predictive maintenance projects for machinery and systems.

Professional focus

As a patent consultant, Stefano is involved in the drafting and prosecution of Italian, European, and international patent applications, as well as conducting prior art searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses. Furthermore, he works alongside senior partners in assisting companies with the protection of intellectual property, contributing to the definition of optimal protection strategies.

Stefano’s main areas of expertise include industrial automation, robotics, electronics, software and mechanics. In addition, Stefano has experience in computer vision, optoelectronic technologies for vision systems, and artificial intelligence, particularly regarding trained/learning algorithms and neural networks.
