The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics have just ended, with athletes competing with increasingly innovative prostheses suited to their discipline.

Today, with 3D printing, the design of a #prosthesis comes from its functionality and is no longer bound to the limits of traditional manufacturing techniques, allowing it to completely rethink its geometry thanks to the variety of materials that can be used.
Much has been done along the way since one of the first patents for lower limb prosthetics in 1846.
