In the 1980s (an era remembered very favorably) Renault promoted a unique initiative: a sweepstakes where all participants could win.

Renault's celebration involved adults and children; entire families eagerly awaited the historic event and poured into dealerships that were literally invaded by customers over the weekend. "Prizes for everyone" were the watchwords of the initiative promoted by the French automaker.

The luckiest had a chance to find inside the weekly Gente Motori magazine the key that would open one of the cars up for grabs, for example, the Renault R5.

For example, we have a registration, as design, in France, in the 1980s, of the "mythical" R5 GT Turbo version.
