Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2019, Romina began (in November 2015) her career as a patent attorney first with another Turin IP firm and then with one of the main Milan IP firm. As a patent attorney, Romina assists clients ranging from research institutions and deeply specialized local companies, up to multinational corporations. Romina also worked as an assistant university researcher in the field of biotechnology applied to endocrinology at the “Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria San Giovanni Battista” of Turin and as a laboratory chemical analyst in pharmaceutical and food fields.
Professional focus
Romina has practice in drafting and prosecuting Italian, European and non-European patent applications relating to chemical and biotechnological subject-matter, has practice in drafting prior art searches to provide validity and interference opinions regarding patents and/or patent applications. She also deals with patent opposition practices.

Romina handles mainly with inventions in the chemical and biotechnological fields, in particular in the field of industrial chemistry and pharmaceuticals.
