Work experience
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2008, Stefano acquired industry experience at the Research & Development departments of Italtel and Siemens Information & Communication Networks, and in the Innovation Management department of Nokia Siemens Networks. Stefano’s practice included advanced research in the field of mobile and optical telecommunications networks and technologies.

Professional focus
Stefano’s practice at Jacobacci & Partners includes drafting and prosecuting European and Italian Patent applications, in particular for subject matter in the fields of electronics and telecommunications. A further focus of Stefano’s work includes detailed technical analysis for opinions on patentability, patent due diligence and freedom-to-operate, and for non-infringement and invalidity technical briefs.

Areas of expertise
Stefano’s core expertise is in the areas of electronics, opto-electronics and telecommunications (in particular mobile communication devices and network equipment for mobile and fixed telecommunications), fibre-optic systems, sensor systems, electro-mechanical systems, semiconductor devices, audio-video devices, electronic control of vehicle propulsion systems, robotic systems, household appliances.
Stefano also handles subject matter relating to electrical signal processing, solution based on blockchain technology and computer-implemented inventions based on artificial intelligence, in particular trained/learning algorithms/ neural networks.
