What is enforcement?

Enforcement activities in the field of anti-counterfeiting includes all those collateral activities that are carried out in collaboration with various institutions and with several, mainly European, countries, to reinforce the protection of industrial or intellectual property rights. Many of these activities involve the use of measures provided by the European Union Enforcement Directive of 2004.

Advantages

Coordinating activities and streamlining time and effort not only achieves greater results, but also is the best method for advancing the fight against counterfeiting in Italy and Europe.

Risks

Taking autonomous and sporadic action against counterfeiting risks not only giving more time to counterfeiters to organize their efforts and defenses, but also that a company, acting on the market in good faith, may see its commercial efforts and investments undercut by illegal operators.
