Iron Maiden and the "Pendolino"

Bruce Dickinson - in addition to being the frontman of the band Iron Maiden - is also a writer, screenwriter and a great lover of speed.

He declared that one of his great passions are high-speed trains, and in particular the "Pendolino", an all-Italian invention.
In 1985, in fact, engineer Santanera filed a patent application for a "Variable chassis high speed railway vehicle", for Fiat Ferroviaria.
The "Pendolino" still circulates among us: the Frecciargento represents the new generation.
